Celebrating Our Ofsted Success
We are delighted to share the fantastic news that Cranbury College has maintained previous standards (“GOOD” in all judgement areas) following a Section 8 Ofsted inspection on 7–8 January 2025. This brilliant achievement is a testament to the unwavering dedication of our staff, the resilience of our pupils, and the invaluable support of Maiden Erlegh Trust.
The Ofsted report celebrates Cranbury College’s commitment to creating an inclusive, nurturing environment where every pupil is encouraged to thrive. Inspectors noted:
“Cranbury College is a place where kindness, inclusion and support pervades. This is an environment where pupils come first, and adults make decisions in pupils’ best interests.”
“There are no limits to what the school believes its pupils can accomplish.”
Highlights from the Report
- High Aspirations: “Staff have high expectations of pupils’ achievement and behaviour. Pupils rise to these in all aspects of their work, irrespective of the length of time they spend here.”
- Personalised Curriculum: Tailored learning ensures pupils re-engage with education, achieve qualifications (BTECs, GCSEs), and prepare for their futures.
- Personal Development: A rich PSHE curriculum helps pupils grow in confidence and develop essential life skills.
- Reading Support: “Pupils who need to catch up receive prompt and effective support. Consequently, pupils become confident and fluent readers.”
