restart a heart 2024

Learning CPR, act fast, save lives!

Restart a Heart (RSAH) is an annual initiative led by Resuscitation Council UK which aims to increase the number of people surviving out-of-hospital cardiac arrests by helping more people learn CPR.

On 16 October, we had the pleasure of inviting some NHS paramedics to school, to deliver training on CPR and using a defibrillator, to our KS3 and KS4 students.

Students were given the opportunity to learn CPR using some specially designed mannequins to the beat of 'Staying Alive'.  All students took something away from the session. Thank you, NHS!
